CTSO 1

Student leadership organizations are recognized as integral to the Career and Technical Education program. Career and Technical Student Organizations (CTSOs) provide a unique program of career and leadership development, motivation and recognition of students enrolled in career and technical programs.

The following CTSOs are available at Wayne High School.

FCCLA-Family, Career and Community Leaders of America

The mission of FCCLA is to promote personal growth and leadership development through family and consumer sciences education. Focusing on the multiple roles of family member, wage earner and community leader, members develop skills for live through character development, creative and critical thinking, interpersonal communication, practical knowledge and vocational preparation.

HOSA-Future Health Professionals

The mission of HOSA is to empower HOSA-Future Health Professionals to become leaders in the global health community through education, collaboration, and experience. The purpose of the HOSA organization is to develop leadership and technical HOSA skill competencies through a program of motivation, awareness and recognition, which is an integral part of Health Science Education instructional program.

FFA

FFA is a dynamic youth organization that changes lives and prepares members for premier leadership, personal growth and career success through agriculture education. FFA develops members' potential and helps them discover their talent through hands-on experiences, which give members the tools to achieve real-world success. FFA is an intracurricular student organization for those interested in agriculture and leadership. It is one of the three components of agricultural education.
