NATIONAL SCHOOL LUNCH AND SCHOOL BREAKFAST PROGRAM

We have received word that the free lunch program that was served last spring has been extended through December 31, 2020, or until the money runs out.  This includes breakfast for the schools that serve breakfast.

Beginning Wednesday, September 16, 2020, all students in Wayne School District schools will be allowed to eat school breakfast and lunch free of charge.  This includes students doing Wayne School District’s online option.  It is only for students enrolled in our schools.  Younger siblings not enrolled or in preschool and those doing homeschool and/or online through another district cannot participate.

However, we still need families to fill out the free or reduced lunch application that creates funding for several other school programs such as Title 1.  Also, once we go back to the regular program you will be charged if we don’t have an application on file.
