7th Grade Mining

Mrs. Stringham’s 7th grade Utah Studies class recently learned all about mining in Utah! We decided to “mine” for ourselves, and we spent a class period delving into some chocolate chip cookies, searching for the hidden “gold” (chocolate chips). It was a lot of fun, and some of the miners really got “paid,” some lost it all, but we all enjoyed the sweet treats at the end.
