Training: Wendy sent out training. Everyone has done the training. It’s not a new training and you don’t have to do it every year.

Welcome Carson Grundy and Kristin Pace.

Rules of order and procedure. We have to approve every year. They have been sent out. Motion to approve made by Erin Palmer, Nadia Harris seconded the motion. All in favor.

Budget:

Wendy Potter explained that $154,500 goes to salary, $30,000 Tech Supplies like new iPads, $8,000 for software, $5,000 for supplies, $1,500 for contract services, $8,000 for books, and $2,000 for field trips. Wendy asked for assembly ideas. Book funds are used for consumables and text books.

Tacey Wood motioned to approve the minutes from April, Kari Denison seconded it. All in favor.

Title 1 plan:

Wendy Potter went over the Title I plan. It's good to have parent and community feedback. It is similar to last year. Rise scores will be back in October so those scores aren't current, but the math and academic scores are current. In the April meeting we will talk about the Title 1 plan for next year and see if the goals need to be changed.

Egg Drop Plan:

The counsel discussed if they still wanted to do the Egg drop. 5th-6th egg drop, 1-4 separate STEM activities. Pair a 5th grader with a 6th grader. Give each team a kit and they have to make it out of the same supplies. Limit the supplies, and ask Greg to drop it on the gravel. Order kits off of Amazon. Egg drop will be either the 15th or the 22nd of October. Tacey is going to check with Greg and see what works better for him. K-4 will do a halloween STEM activity that is prepped.

Talked about ways to get parents involved. Kari Denison made a motion to adjourn the meeting, Nadia Harris seconded the motion.
