Annual Asbestos Notice

The Wayne County School District endeavors to minimize student, staff and patron exposure to any hazardous or toxic substance including asbestos.  In accordance with EPA standards and State and Federal law, we have an asbestos management plan for each building in the district.  Results of the school asbestos inspections by accredited Inspectors are available for public viewing in each of the Wayne County Schools or at the District Office located at 79 North 100 West in Bicknell, Utah.  Asbestos reinspections are done, as required by law, every three years with surveillances done at six month intervals.
