Wayne School District is seeking applicants for the following positions:   

Business Administrator

The Wayne County School District Board of Education is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Business Administrator.

Basic Requirements (Education & Experience) - Master’s degree in business, accounting or educational administration is preferred. Experience may be substituted for some education, a bachelor’s degree is required. Experience budgeting and financial planning preferred. Human resources experience beneficial.

Application Timeline - Open until filled with first review of applications April 18th. Initial interviews April 23-25. BA appointed in May with an immediate start date. Consideration given for existing contracts.

Elementary Teacher

Loa Elementary – Grade to be determined

Candidates need to have a Bachelor’s Degree and Utah Teaching License; or be working toward these credentials. Applicants must also possess a knowledge of the subject matter and appropriate instructional methodologies, good communication skills, and be proficient working as a member of a team. Candidates seeking an intern position will be considered. This is a half-time position with pro-rated benefits. Salary will be based on qualifications and Wayne School District teacher salary schedule.

Paraprofessional

Wayne High School - Wayne School District is accepting applications for a paraprofessional to work with our Special Education Department.  Applicants will be required to work closely under teacher supervision with individual students or small groups of students. You will be performing a variety of tasks relating to the physical and instructional needs of students in a classroom setting, assisting with the implementation of instructional programs, including self-help and behavior management, as well as, instruction, and provide assistance to teachers in various capacities as assigned. Candidates must have the following skills: good communication, conflict resolution, professionalism, and help to establish an educational climate that facilitates student success and academic achievement.

Substitute Cooks

Wayne School District is accepting applications for Substitute Cooks to help at both Wayne High School & Loa Elementary. The successful applicants will assist the Head Cook with daily meal preparation, serving, and cleaning up. This position could be up to 28 hours per week, with no benefits. Pay will be according to Wayne School District’s salary schedule.

The applicant needs to have a positive attitude, and interact in a positive and friendly manner with students & staff on a daily basis. They will need to be able to work as a team.  Applicants must also have or be willing to obtain a current food handlers permit, and keep up on all training.
