Mrs. Pace teaches all grade levels in our small Hanksville Elementary School. She teaches 12 students in Kindergarten through 4th grades. To say this is difficult is an understatement. She has mastered the art of centers and rotations to teach math in each grade level. She works with students by grade level and in doing so facilitates student led discourse. Students rotate and work with paraprofessionals to reinforce concepts taught. Students then rotate to independent work and fact practice at their seats. She uses the data from assessments to meet the needs of her students by using asset-based instructional practices.
