New Character Ed Curriculum - Wayfinder
Wayne School District is considering a new Character Ed/SEL Curriculum called Wayfinder. Wayne School Board will be discussing this new curriculum at the upcoming board meeting on May 14th at Wayne High School. The district is seeking public input on the new curriculum. Details on the new curriculum, as well as sample lessons, can be found below. WAYFINDER: This program will cover K-12. It includes Tier 1, Tier 2, Tier 3 (MTSS). The program also includes the Portrait of a Graduate feature. Portrait of a Graduate is the program the state of Utah is implementing to help K-12 students gain skills that will help them after graduation. Wayfinder also integrates with programs Wayne School District is already using such as Canvas and Clever. Wayfinder is also a program that is geared toward students such as ours. The inclusivity sections of Wayfinder are designed for skill integration that works really well for rural students.
