Wayne School District Employee Recognition Award - January 2026

Wayne School District is proud to spotlight the dedicated individuals who help make its schools positive, supportive, and successful environments for both students and staff. Through the Wayne School District Employee Recognition Award, employees who consistently go above and beyond are honored for their commitment, professionalism, and the genuine care they bring to their roles each day. These recognitions highlight that true excellence is reflected not only in job performance, but in the meaningful impact staff members have on the lives of others.
What makes this award especially significant is that recipients are nominated by their peers. Colleagues who work side by side with these individuals take the time to recognize outstanding teamwork, service, and dedication. Throughout the year, the Superintendent visits school sites to personally present each honoree with a certificate and a small token of appreciation, expressing gratitude on behalf of the district for their exceptional efforts.
This recognition program reinforces a core belief of Wayne School District: the strength of its schools lies in the people who serve them. From classroom teachers and instructional aides to transportation, nutrition, custodial, and maintenance staff, every role contributes to a safe, caring, and effective learning environment. By continuing to celebrate these outstanding employees, the district honors the heart of its schools and the individuals who make a difference every single day.
