Workers Compensation
Compliance with Statutory Requirements—
The Board will provide workers compensation benefits pursuant to state statutes and administrative regulations of the Division of Industrial Accidents within the Labor Commission. Provision of workers compensation benefits will be made for all persons entitled to such benefits under the law.
Employees may receive Workers’ Compensation benefits for injuries and lost wages as provided under Utah Workers’ Compensation law. To make up the difference in wages, contract employees may use accrued leave to cover time not worked that is not covered under Workers’ Compensation.
