Health Insurance Benefits

Health Insurance Benefits—

All employees who work thirty (30) hours per week or more during the contract school year shall be entitled to health insurance benefits paid by the School District.  Those employees who do not work at least thirty (30) hours per week during the contract school year are not entitled to these benefits.

All full time employees who work forty (40) hours per week shall be entitled to health insurance benefits paid by the School District.  Employees who work at least 30, but less than 40 hours per week shall be entitled to ¾ benefits.

Qualified employees who do not wish insurance benefits may make arrangements with the School District to receive a cash in lieu payment which will be added to their salary.  The amount of the in lieu payment will be pro rated for the amount of hours worked, but will not exceed the amount paid for a single employee coverage.
