Wayne School District Employee Recognition Award - December 2025

Wayne School District is proud to honor the remarkable individuals who make its schools such exceptional places to learn and work. Through the Wayne School District Employee Recognition Award, staff members who consistently go above and beyond are celebrated for their excellence, dedication, and the genuine heart they bring to their roles each day. What makes this recognition especially meaningful is that honorees are nominated and selected by their own coworkers—the people who witness their commitment, teamwork, and impact firsthand. Throughout the year, the Superintendent visits each school site to present recipients with a certificate and a small token of appreciation, expressing the district’s sincere gratitude.
This ongoing recognition program highlights what Wayne School District has always known: its schools are filled with extraordinary people in every department and position. From classrooms to cafeterias, offices to maintenance shops, and buses to playgrounds, each staff member plays a vital role in supporting student success and fostering a positive, caring school community. By continuing to celebrate these outstanding employees, the district reaffirms its belief that great schools are built by great people—and Wayne School District is fortunate to have the very best.
