STEM at Wayne High School
Physics students learn about Newton's 3rd Law by building Water Bottle Rockets and launching tissue paper hot air balloons.   Although the weather is cold, the students can learn about these concepts with hands on projects to reinforce in class learning.  Earth Science students spent time on Thursday January 31st learning about air flow with walk-along gliders that are lifted by air! Although we can't see the air, they act like a fluid! Students in earth science are learning about the atmosphere and weather.
