Stampeding the Mustangs

In an all day battle against the Bryce Valley Mustangs the Badgers came out victorious when it counted the most. Early in the day Bryce Valley had a clean sweep of beating both the freshamn and jv teams.  As the varsity game approached the Badgers tried to keep their heads up in hopes of beating the Mustangs.

 In the first quarter the Badgers lead 16 to 9.  The second quarter the Badgers out scored the Mustangs again 14 to 7 bringing the score to 30 to 16.  After the half the Badgers didn't back down and outscored the Mustangs yet again 12 to 7.  Bringing the score to 42 to 23.  Going into the last quarter the Mustangs brought their game and outscored the Badgers 15 to 9.  The final score came to 51-38.  Leading the pack in points was Hannah Morrill with 16 points and 1 three pointer and Brynnli Nelson with 13 points and 1 three pointer.  This win brings the Badgers record to 7-3. The Badgers next game is here on the 4th of January against Green River.  Come out and support this amazing group of girls.
