Taming the Buckaroos

On the 11th the Buckaroos travelled to Wayne to face off against the Badgers.  The Buckaroos took early control with a 14-11 lead over the Badgers.  

The Badgers couldn't be held down for long and bounced back out scoring the Buckaroos by two and brought a 22-21 score home.  At the half Wayne was only starting to get going and the same was true for after the half.  In the third quarter the Badgers secured the lead finally.  They finished the third with a 29-32.  Once Wayne had the lead they did not give it up.  Wayne ran the floor and Monticello didn't have an answer for them.  The game finished with a 38-43 Badger lead.  The leading scorer in this game by 14 points is Brynnli Nelson with 22 points and a 3-pointer.  The Badgers are on a hot win streak with a record of 11-3 and a win streak of 8 games.  The lady's next game is in Monument Valley on the 26th at 4 and then in Whitehorse on the 27th at 3:30.  We wish them luck and safe travels in their journey to state.
