Running the Cougars

After a long bus ride Wayne came to play taking an early lead at the end of the first quarter with a score of 15-8.  In the second quarter the Cougars outscored Wayne proving they were here to win.  

Leaving the score 33-29.  AFter the half both teams fought to keep the scores close as the third quarter drew to an end.  The scoreboard read 51-46.  In an all out final battle the Cougars were not able to overcome the Badgera and fell 69-62.  Wayne had two players with 20 or more points a piece.  Maloree Mitchell scored 27 points and Brynnli Nelson 20 points.  On the 27th the Badgers will face off against the Whitehorse Raiders.  Wayne’s record is now 12-3 and they are on a win streak of 9 games.  Let’s go Ladies.
