Last night the Badgers travelled to Gunnison to take on the Bulldogs. Many had high hopes of winning as the end of the season draws near. Unfortunatly most fell short of the goal. Wayne fought hard to overcome the power of the Bulldogs, but they were no match. Wayne lost the duel due to losses that should have been different. Come out and support the Badgers and the Seniors during the last home match on the 17th at 7 PM against the Parowan Rams.
Over Christmas break Wayne hosted the Manti Templars in a duel. Although Wayne fought very hard to secure the win they could not overcome the injuries the team has suffered.

On the 19th the Badgers travelled to Panguitch to take on the Bobcats. This is always a match up between these two teams. Even after suffering a few injuries from the Manti tournament Wayne came out victorious against the Bobcats. This was a great dual to improve seating when the region tournament rolls around. Come out and support the Badgers as they wrestle Manti on the 29th of Decemeber. Go Badgers.
On the 15th and 16th wrestlers traveled to Manti to compete in a team dual tournament. In this tournament we had one undefeated wrestler and a few that only lost once. Barlow Pace with his seond weekend in a row to go undefeated. Wade Jeffery and Jacob Oldroyd only lost one last weekend. We want to congradulate their hard work and determination to succeed. Wayne's next match is the 19th in Panguitch. We wish them well go beat those bobcats.
This weekend the Badgers traveled to Saint George,and took on many teams from around the state. While the team did very well one of the Badgers went undefeated all weekend. This wrestler is Barlow Pace, a senior. He has wrestled for many years and loves the sport. We applaude the teams hard work this season and wish them well in the pursuit of a state title.
