Over the weekend the Badgers ventured to Price to face off against Region 19 and 20 on their ride to a state title. Wayne over all competed well. The team as a whole came in second falling behind the Monticello Buckaroos.

On the 23 the Badgers hosted the Parowan Rams. The Badgers had the sad pleasure to honor and say goodbye to their 5 seniors this year. While it is sad to see such a good group of wrestlers move on we reme all the triumphs that we saw they make. As the wrestling got underway there was no question who the better team was. Wayne swept the board and only giving up points due to forfeits. We are proud of all that the wrestlers have accomplished this year and wish them well at there tournament.
Over the weekend the Badgers travelled over 6 hours to compete with the Sand Devils. While everyone competed well two of Wayne’s Badgers stood above the rest and remained undefeated. These two amazing wrestlers are Barlow Pace and Daniel Ayala. While Barlow has been undefeated at multiple tournaments this is Daniel’s first big win. With just a little under a year of wrestling he has progressed to be a force to be reckoned with. The Badgers next home duel is Senior Night. It will be held on the 23 of January. Go Badgers.
Last night the Badgers travelled to Gunnison to take on the Bulldogs. Many had high hopes of winning as the end of the season draws near. Unfortunatly most fell short of the goal. Wayne fought hard to overcome the power of the Bulldogs, but they were no match. Wayne lost the duel due to losses that should have been different. Come out and support the Badgers and the Seniors during the last home match on the 17th at 7 PM against the Parowan Rams.
